How to Change Mac Folder Icon to Any Image
Did you know it’s possible to change Mac’s boring folder icon to any image? Let’s be honest, I didn’t know until recently even though I have been a Mac user for 4 years already. There are still a lot of new things to learn about Mac, but I definitely love learning new things. So do you I bet.
Anyway, let’s go back to the topic. You can easily change (customize) folder icon to any image you prefer as I mentioned earlier, it’s very quick and easy, and it can make your folder look more fun and unique. I’m sure it’s not bad a bad tip to remember, you can use this tip while finding a specific folder, if it had its image, it would be so much easier to find out, wouldn’t it? Let’s get started.
First, open the image you want to use as an icon in Preview, and press [command + A] and then [command + C]
Select a folder you’d like to change the icon, and then ‘Get Info’ by left click. Press [command + V]
It’s all done, successfully. It is very easy and you don’t even need to use an app to do it!
